Monitor internet connection

I'm hoping that I can get any ideas on how I can determine what program
running on my WinXP SP2 pc is constantly connected and using up all my
bandwidth. Is there a utility that will show me what programs that are
running and currently accessing my cable connection? I'm fairly certain
that it's not any sort of adware, trojan or what have you. I've scanned my
pc with several different programs online and I always get a clean bill of
health. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I experienced this before. The included firewall in SP2 does not block any
outgoing program/application access. I installed Zones Alarm (Free) which
always my to see which are accessing the Internet and allows me to grant
access to he applications that I want.
