Monitor display

I'm sure this is an easy one. Sent computer in for
unrelated problem and when it came back the display on
the monitor is too small i.e. there's a half inch black
border all around whichever window is open. Went to
Display Properties, Desktop, and tried switching between
Center, Tile and Stretch but nothing happened. Thanks
for your help.

Your resolution and/or refresh rates are not synronized
correctly. Display Properties > Settings for resolution
advanced > monitor for refresh rates
