money 2002 inop after sp2 install

After installing SP2, Money 2002 gets "Error 1606" constantly. After
clicking cancel many times, program runs normally, then the errors start
again. Once I saw a error message regarding the Money system pack which I
tried to uninstall, but couldn't - fatal error. Please advise!! I need my
Money!!
