hi guys,

emergency technical questions regarding the document properties on a
microsoft word document:

1. is it possible to modify the created-on date in a document by any
means, i.e. word, dos...

2. is it possible for the modified-on date to be earlier than the
created-on date? logically yes, but technically through some quirk??

let me know what you think. thanks!

Yes - reset the PC's clock to the date you want then use file > save as and
save with the same name
Change the clock back again. You can even set a created date in the future.

Yes.

Dates stored in documents have no bearing on the actual dates the documents
were created.
