Modified Date

Sometimes when I edit a page on my development web (W2K, IIS5, 2002
Extensions) the modified date doesn't change.

For example I last modified a page on Jan 14, 2003. Today I went in
and changed some items on the page and saved it. After saving the
page the modified date was still showing Jan 14, 2003, but the page
actually reflected the correct data. I tried publishing the web, but
the page didn't change on the production web.

Does anybody have any ideas as to why I am seeing this problem?

Did you do this with a web open and not just the page/file?

Choose Recalculate Hperlinks from the Tools menu and
see if that helps.
