I am not able to make any changes in my word document i just ugrade to
microsoft 2007 office and student home . it keep saying modification is not
allow because selection is lock . How to I unlock to write or make changes

Please try this after you open Word 2007:

•On the Review tab, click New Comment.
• In the Protect Document task pane, click Unrestricted Access.

Note: If the Unprotect Document dialog box appears, the document is
password-protected. You cannot stop the protection on this document unless
you know the password.

The reason for the error message is that may be you have a trial version of
Office 2003 or 2007, and the trial period has ended. Or maybe you did not
activate your Office software.

What happens if you start Word 2003 and click on Help | Activate
Product, or if you start Word 2007 and click on Office Button | Word
Options | Resources | Activate? If you are already activated, a dialog
box saying so will appear. If you are not activated, the Activation
Wizard will start. If you have an expired trial version, a dialog box
will prompt you to enter a valid product key or convert (purchase a key)
online.
