Hi All,
I've an Motorola SM56 internal modem in my system, before
i had win 2000 server on my comp, the modem came with an
driver CD for win2K, and it was working fine. Recently i
formatted the system and installed Win XP on it, when i
checked on web sites they had said the win 2K drivers
willl be compatible with Xp, and to ignore the warning
that the driver isnt digitally signed, and go ahead with
the installation. After installing this when i connect to
the internet, the connection willl last for abt 10-15 mins
after that an error window pops up which says the syatem
will now shutdown and tells me to sav eany open programs,
and the clock countdown willl begin from 50 secs, and it
says that the shutdown is initiated by " NT
AUTHORITY/SYSTEM",After this even if i try to unistall the
drivers and install some other drivers through update
driver, it says could not install the drivers. Can anybody
please help me in this matter.Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
Thanks in Advance,
Crownu
