Modem problems?

Hi,

Yesterday I connected to the internet for a couple of hours. When I
tried to reconnect a few hours later I kept getting error messages (628 and
692). Now I can't connect at all!

The device manager says there are no problems, does anyone know how to fix
this problem?

Do you know the name of the modem you are using? Might try the manufacturer's web
site for an updated driver.

I think it might be something to do with the COM port(s), but I haven't a
clue how to rectify this!

Hi Mary,

The modem is a Conexant SoftK56 Modem(M), i've been to the manufacturers
website, but there is only a generic download.
