I have a WebCruiser 56K Voice Modem, PNP. Win XP detects the modem and
intalls the driver, not XP compliant, and I am able to connect to the
internet. After restarting the machine the dial-up program tells me that I
have error 632 and I am forced to uninstall and reinstall the modem in order
to connect. Any suggestions?

Jon,

get the latest modem driver from the modem's manufacturer and
install that.

If that doesn't help, buy a better modem.
