Have just upgraded to XP Pro from 98SE and cannot figure out where to get at
the setting for the modem to allow call wating to show on screen. On my Win
98 when a call came in and I was on line it would show up on the screen , I
see where to disable call wating but thats not what I want, Can anyone help
please?
Thanks

Sounds like you had a third party application installed.
Install the same third party software - but for XP.

Hi
Thanks for the answer but 98Se used to have a click box in the modem
properties that did that amd I was sure that it was not a third party add on
, but I have been wrong before so I will check
Thanks

As you can see, by default you can disable Call-Waiting, but there is no
native way to see when a call comes in.
