After searching Google and finding no help, I would like to know how to
disable mobsync.exe from the start up. If I remove it using MSCONFIG, it
just keeps coming back.

Thanks!

Open
My Computer
Tools
Synchonize
then untick/remove any synchonize jobs in the list

Do you mean

My Computer
Control Panel
Administrative Tools?

If so, I find no "synchronize" to click on.

Thanks again,

I get it now. My Home Page was there and I unticked it. Now mobsync.exe
shouldn't load anymore?

I'll reboot and see :-)

No, mobsync.exe is still in MSCONFIG. It also says it's
mobsync.exe/logon

Try also

Start
Settings
Control Panel
Internet Options
Advanced Tab

Under the "Browsing" section

untick
Enable offline items to be synchronized on a schedule

Apply
OK

I did that and it's still in the MSCONFIG start up.

Have you tried disabling "Offline Files" ?

Open My Computer
Tools
Folder Options
Offline Files
untick Enable Offline Files
Apply
OK

That didn't do it either; it's still in MSCONFIG.

is shown in MSCONFIG?

No, but I have never used regedit and don't feel very comfortable doing so.
I think at this point I will leave well enough alone.
