MMC

I have administrative rights to the local LAN. All my
server shares are working corectly and I can see and
connect to all shares in Explorer. When I try to connect
to another PC through the MMC I get a message..."Unable to
open Computer Selector". I can't find any reference to
this in the Knowledge Base. Any suggestions???

Try using the IP address of the target computer instead of name and verify that the
remote registry service is running on the target computer. See if you can connect to
the administrative share [such as c$] and download a file from the target computer
which would verify basic smb connectivity. --- Steve
