I get an error when trying to open mmc.exe in the Run Command box. How would
I download and reinstall mmc.exe? Thanks

Search your harddrive. There maybe a backup in DLLCACHE.
If it's there, copy it over the one in SYSTEM32.

These kinds of files are not usually downloaded, they can be retrieved
from the XP Cdrom if necesary.
Have you done a full virus scan?

What error do you get ?
Something to effect that you are unable to initialize . . .
If so, check the system path environment variable,
and make sure that the third listed below, Wbem,
is present
c:\Windows; c:\Windows\system32; c:\Windows\system32\Wbem
is how this env var normally begins.
