MM2 Was Working then Started Freezing after Capturing 3KB

Movie Maker was working fine then suddenly started freezing the file size at
3 KB everytime. All my other capturing software works fine. Any ideas ,i
have tried reinstalling it...you name it.
Windows XP Pro ,ATI All In Wonder Radeon 7500 card ,512 mb ram ,AMD Athlon
XP 1600+ cpu ,WD 80 gig hard drive with 8 mb cache. The time keeps rolling
but when you stop capture and hit finish it locks up Movie Maker...Stan
