MM2 - sound is still skipping

Hi there,

Little problem here: when I play the movie I made with
MM2, all sounds perfect. But, after converting to AVI,
the sound skips during video transition AND the high
tones seem like a whistle... I have tried all MP3 formats
(128, 160, 192 and 224kbps) but nothing helped... WMA
files in 192kbps aren't working either... Can anyone help
me? Should I add the music directly from CD?

Process just the video. Convert the audio to wav, and use
something like TMPGEnc to put it all together. When all
else has failed (I only disassemble and convert completed
video), this always does the trick for me.

So what you are saying is - that you can't use MM2 and
add music AND transitions at the same time !!

Interesting.

I must admit, that every time I've tried to make a movie
with MM2 and add music it always produces distorted sound
during fades, and like you, I've had to use another
application to mute the music and add it in again afresh.

I'd be interested in hearing from ANYONE who has NOT had
this problem. Who out there can get this thing to
actually work the way it should ??
