"Mixer" box appears next to Start button

Recently, a box appears next to my start button
titled "Mixer". It won't open, I can't close it, McAfee
scans OK and Search & Destroy doesn't find anything
either. Anyone know what it is? how do I get rid of it?

Help would be most appreciated.

I am pretty sure that this is not the correct news group for this question.
This particular question is for WIN2000 Active Directory issues. You might
want to post this question to a more appropriate news group. Maybe the
WIN2000.General would be a good start.
