Mixed Feelings and a Question about Spysweeper.....

I have recently installed the free version of Spysweeper, and I have
the following doubts about the software:

Every time I run the software, it detects Alexa Toolbar on my system.
Even after having deleted Alexa (via Spysweeper,) the software detects
Alexa on my system, following any internet activity at all.

I wonder if this is a valid detection at all, at this point. Does
anyone here have a similar experience and/or an opinion?

answering YES. (Except what may install as part of some other software.)

Start | Settings | Control Panel | Internet Options | Advanced tab |
Make sure both of these are NOT checked.

 Enable Install On Demand (Internet Explorer)
