Mistery Folder

at work

I defraged my system the other day (had no problems)
but the next time I booted I had a folder on my desktop named "b1"
the folder was empty so I tryed to delete it.
I got a message saying "this is a system folder which windows needs and it
can't be deleted"
or words to that efect.

has anyone had this before ???

Had you installed any new program or downloaded any software just before the
folder appeared on the Desktop?
 
No haven't for ages
