Missing

I open up my recycle bin and there are no objects in it.
But if I right click on the the recycle bin Icon and
select empty it will then ask me if I want to delete the
24 objects in the recycle bin. I can delet something on
the desktop and go see if its there but it is not visable
You right click on the Icon again and it will say do you
want to delete x number of objects I say yes and it
emptys it and the if you right click and select empty it
says there are no objects to delete.

Any help would be appreciated

Alhough windows xp is very sophisticated,
frankly more so that the average person needs or wants
(imho) it still has the same kind of weird bugs that windows
has had forever.

Hi Les,

This seems to work for many: Make sure that something is in the Recycle Bin
(delete any file). With the Recycle Bin closed, right click and choose:
Empty Recycle Bin. When the confirm box appears, click ok. Reboot. Now the
Recycle Bin should work correctly.
