missing XP key code needed to repair or reinstall OS

Recently took over as manager of store and owner is new. We are trying to run repair or if we have to reinstall WIN XP after getting a virus. Removed virus but few files got infected and we cant connect to the internet or netowkr for that PC only. HELP
