When I bootup for the first time, after I enter my password, a popup window appears "windows cannot find C:\windows\system32\wminfo.exe". make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the start button, then click search---the file appears to be missing, did not delete????

After clicking OK in the popup window, another window appears, "Could not load or run 'C:\windows\system32\wminfo.exe' specified in the registry. Make sure the file exist on your computer or remove the reference to it in the registry. Can anyone out there help

Thanks

Type msinfo in Start Run - Startup and disable it. It's either a virus that has been cleaned or some database that you uninstalled.
