Missing Windows\AppPatch\drvmain.sdb file

My XP won't boot up. I receive the error message that
says the \Windows\AppPatch\drvmain.sdb file is missing.
It advises I insert the setup Cd and press r ? However,
when I do this I keep getting the same error message.

I've tried to F8 and none of the options get beyound this
error message. Can anyone point me in another direction?

The error is prompting you to use the Recovery Console. Make sure you are
booting off the CD:

If that doesn't help, a repair/reinstall may be in order:
