What OS? What tool used to "look in the registry"?

If W2K for example and regedt32.exe, check View menu for "Tree and
Data"

Hi Mark,

sincerely, i did not know the exisistence of regedt32.exe...i always used
regedit.exe under \winnt. My os is win2000.
Regedt32.exe show me key and value in the corrrect way, right. But regedit
does not.
Yesterday i scan my computer with an antivirus and seems all ok. I'm sure
that some weeks ago regedit shown me keys and data in the correct way...
I do not know why....

thanks Mark

Ensure the regedit.exe you are running is the real an genuine MS
program.

This sounds more like malware or rootkits or some such which is
outside the scope of this group. A-V alone will not cover you
these days...sorry to say.
