Missing track names in 'My Music' folder

I've ripped a number of my CDs to my hard disk, and while
I can get the track listing etc from the Net and they
appear in MediaPlayer, when I look at My Music everything
winds up in 'Unknown Artist' with the track names missing
(it just gives Track 1, Track 2, etc).

How do I get the track names to appear correctly, without
manually typing them all in?

Try looking them up on the FreeDB. You can use MP3Tag for free.

open tools/options, media library tab. enable rename/regroup and set if
you want metadata to overwrite or augment what you have (for your case i
would suggest augment). Then, in the library, right-click the albums and
select update album info (or hit f3, set it to get metadata for all files
and then scan My Music).

once we make the match, we'll rename/regroup the files according to the
metadata that exists in them (since you're only augmenting, we won't change
anything that already exists).
