Missing Toolbar

Using IE6 with XP SP2.

Previous versions of IE had a toolbar at the bottom of the screen that
showed info such as a symbol for being on a secure web site, etc. This
toolbar has been missing for some time. How do I get it back? Thanks.

In IE under View select Status Bar
