Hello, I have a weird problem with my Visual Basic. The text in list boxes,
buttons and message boxes are missing when I run the program. Everything
looks fine at design time but somewhere when I actually run it things
disappear. Any else ever seen this or know how to resolve it?

(btw, I did check the font and that's ok. If I start a brand new windows
application the same problem exists there too)

Thanks!!

Maybe behavior this is caused by a McAfee VirusScan problem that NAI is
aware of and that can be fixed by installing a patch:

Patch 5 for McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.0i

Direct download for the patch:

LOL thank you for the reply. I have Mcafee 8.0i installed and I never would
have thought that was causing it. It's pretty funny that my my exact problem
is listed right on the patch page.

Again thanks!!

McAfee has often broken .NET (and non .NET apps). Personally I will not use Mcafee because
its been so problematic for everyone I know who has used it.
