missing stuff

Hi there,
I recently, repaired a problem i had on my win 2000 with
an ERD (using fast repair rather than manual). It
corrected the problem (which was windows not starting
b/cos of a missing ntskonrl). The problem now is most of
my programs and files cant be found. e.g. Several things
under accessories are missing (system tools is almost
empty, adminisrators tools is empty, my power dvd, corell
draw ,oracle software,are all gone and many others too)
though if i search for some of these programs i find them
but they dont work. Pls help. I had/have service park 2 on
it.

If you did a "System State" backup of your machime before the fail/repair
then do a restore from it. If you have no previous System State backup then
you will have to re-install the programs.
Problem is the ERD was made before these things were installed. So the
repair using it left out any info on the "newer" stuff.
Lesson Keep your ERD upto date.
Oh and also redo the SPs.

Thnx, What actually happened was i used an ERD from
another computers win2000, i never had any of mine.
