I was away from my pc for 2.5 weeks and have returned to notice that some of
my personal folders I created in Vista Windows Mail have vanished. I know of
4 of them that I can remember having and are now gone.

I hope nothing has happened to them and maybe they are archived or
something. One in particular was a folder with all the 'keeper' emails I have
(registrations, receipts etc.), this one I need back badly.

Please someone help. Thank you.

Were they subfolders of some other folder? If so, check if the other folder
now has a triangle or a + sign in a box to the left of it. If it does,
click on
the triangle or box to make the subfolders appear or disappear.

There was a triangle next to my folder named Judy. The receipts were moved
from my in-box a sub-folder named receipts. I can select the (receipt)
e-mail and move it to the recept sub-folder but when I click on the
sub-folder I get this message. "There are no items in this view. Some items
may be hidden because a biew is applied." This make to sence to me. Can
anyone help?

The next time you click on that sub-folder, click on View, then Current
View, then Show All Messages afterwards, and see if that makes more
messages appear.
