I'm missing the running windows tabs in the taskbar (the
things you can click on to minimize/maximize/etc). I
suspect its a registry entry issue. (theorizing) The
right most limits for the various toolbars seem to be at
some point approaching infinity, so the windows are
probably still theoretically there, I can't see them
though. The problem came about after a hard restart when
i was running a freeware memory utility (perhaps the
value was destroyed when the power was turned off, just
theorizing). No viruses are present, and rebooting
didn't fix the problem. I'm still mobile and capable at
the computer but If anyone can point me in the right
direction for remedying the problem it'd be great. I'm
not denying how it is an obscure problem but you never
know.

Thanks,
Igz

First, if you need to, right click the taskbar and make
sure "Lock Taskbar" is not selected. Then double click the
verticle seperator line you see. It'll be to one side of
the quicklaunch area. This should fix your problem if it's
a positioning one.

Hi Igz,

See Tip 240 at Kelly's site:
(Programs Aren't Minimized in the Taskbar)
