Missing printer port

I accidently deleted printer port LPT1: from windows XP.
I can no longer print. Do I need to reinstall the files
for this port? What are my options?
 
Shut down windows. Shut down the computer. Restart. Possibly windows will
install the deleted port support for you. If not, check out System restore
and see if you can restore the system to a date before you deleted the port.

Let us know.
 
open printers, file- server properties,ports- add new
port. Add local port- lpt1
