missing outlook files

Without warning, I lost all of my Outlook folders. Outlook appears on my
desktop, yet it does not contain any of my folders, contacts, etc. I am
running Windows Vista and Outlook 2007. I tried reverting back to a recent
restore point, yet found that the last one was over a year ago. Can you help,
please?

If you search your hard drive, do you find any .pst files (be sure to enable
searching hidden files/folders)? If yes, then open them in Outlook using
File->Open->Outlook DAta files. Your data will be in one of them unless you
deleted it from your file system.
