If you did not receive a Windows XP installation CD, Product Key,
and all pertinent Windows XP documentation, a proper and legal
Windows XP license transfer did not occur. The only thing you
can do is purchase a "Full Version" of Windows XP and proceed
with a "Repair Install".

| when I start up my computer I get an error message that says that a windows startup file is missing or
corrupt and to insert my installation CD and press "r" to repair. I am unable to start in safe mode or
anything. Nothing I do gets me past this screen. The worst part is that I just bought this computer second
hand and I don't have the installation disk for the OS! Is there any hope for me to at least save my files?
Any and all help would be appreciated.
