missing or corrupt ...isapnp.sys on startup

I cant seem to load windows 2000. I get to the 'starting
windows' screen, status bar moves about half way and i get
this message: "Windows 2000 could not start because the
following file is missing or corrupt: \winnt\system32
\DRIVERS\isapnp.sys. You can attempt to repair this file
by starting Windows 2000 setup using the original setup
floppy disk or CD-ROM. Select 'r' at the first screen to
start repair."
I put in the disc, restart the computer, but it wont read
from it. I have the bios set to read from CDROM first, but
I dont seem to get the 'Welcome to Setup screen'.
Any suggestions on how I can repair this file or how i can
get the 'Welcome to Setup screen' to come up? I'd
appreciate any suggestions or solutions, Thank you!

You have two options:

a) Get a replacement Win2000 CD.

b) Install your disk as a slave disk in some other
Win2000/XP PC, then expand & replace the
missing file.

If your system partition is FAT32 (as opposed to NTFS) then
you can boot the machine with a boot disk from
www.bootdisk.com, and replace the missing file from your
Win2000 CD.

Problem Solved!
I used my laptop *windows 98* to make the setup disks.
Took me a while to think of something so obvious, but it
did the trick! Thank you for your suggestions =)
