Missing Operating System

I keep getting this ( missing operating system) when i
turn on my computer and wait for it to start up and i
don't know what to do about it.

If you have a valid OS, such as windows XP and microsoft

will not help....get Linux.

any possibility you have it set to boot from floppy first & have a data disk
in the floppy?

Shut up you fool. This kind of stupidity wins no hearts to Linux. To the
OP, boot with your XP cd and choose "Install" and once there, choose
"Repair installation".
