missing msconfig.exe

while trying to install a comunication software to connect my laptop to a
handheld I found out I'm missing msconfig.exe
what should I do to have it installed ? will reinstalation of win2k help ?

It's not missing - it was never there for Win2000
machines! You can get a copy from here:
http://www.svrops.com/svrops/dwnldoth.htm
Place it into your c:\WinNT\system32 folder.
