On two seperate occaissions, with two different software
packages, I've lost the mouse after installing software.
The first time was a load of Norton. This time it's a
load of Adobi Photoshop Album. After loading the software
and restarting the system, I have no mouse. There is also
no mouse entry in the device maintenance tree. So far,
the only cure has been to do a new load. I'm using win2k
Pro. Any way to avoid this, or repair it

What do you mean with "to do a new load"? A new load
of what? Norton? Which Norton product? Adobe Photoshop?
Mouse driver? Windows 2000?
