I just plugged in another hard drive to my computer.
The BIOS recognized the addition of the HD but windows
does not see the drive. The drive is formated. Also I
cant see the drive from backup software Drive Image 2002,
which usually sees a drive even if that drive is not
formated. I currently have a 180GB HD split into 3
partitions - 2 80's and a 20. I plugged in the other
drive, 80GB, to backup the first partition on my main
drive. What can I do to make the drive appear?

Right click on My Computer and select Manage.

On the following screen, click on Disk Management. The drive should appear
on the right hand side of the screen from where you can assign it a drive
letter.
