missing functionality of the Control Panel

Chris

Hello all,

I am missing functionality of the Control Panel.

I have read in a thread that the macro-component "Shell Application
Compatibility" could help. Is it really existing because I can't find
it in the TD ?

Thks

Do you mean certain functionality is missing from the control panel or you
can't launch the control panel? If what you meant is that you can't see it
in the Start Menu, then you need to set the "Show Control Panel on Start
Menu:" option in the "User Interface Core" component. You can also include
the "Control Panel Command Line Support" component if you'd like to launch
the control panel from the command line.

Hello All,

Certain functionality are missing from the control panel.
The User Interface Core" component and the "Control Panel Command Line
Support"Show Control Panel on Start Menu are included.

---> The pb is that I don't get the commande line although I selected
it in the User Interface Core !

cf post
Under User Interface Core of the Fev 2nd (Sorry, I didn't managed to

Chris,

Can you open up CMD and launch Control Panel from there?
(control.exe, "control.exe desk.cpl", etc.)

KM,

I has been one week that I'm trying to get the CMD (Run on start menu )
and I can't manage to do it. So I can not do what you are telling me
(CMD + control.exe).

I'm thinking of putting a shortcut on the desktop of CMD.exe, but I
guess my client will not like it very much

Thk.

Regards

Chris

Chris,

And why can't you launch CMD from Start Menu-->Run?
I mean what errors you saw?

Did you include Command Prompt component in your image?
