Missing Font

I am collaborating on a project with another person who is running
Office 2000 on XP. She has a font, French Script MT, that I do not
have on my W2K running the same Office 2000. I don't know where she
got this font, as I don't see it on my other machine (also an XP), but
I need it to do this project. How can I get this font on my machine?
Can I copy it from her machine if she sends me the font file? Any
idea on why it is installed on her XP machine and not mine? Is this a
standard Office font?

Hi, Don,

Here's the list of MS products that include the French Script MT font:
Access 97 SR2, Greetings 99, Home Publishing 99, Office 2000 Premium, Office
97 Small Business Edition SR2, Office 97 SR1a, PhotoDraw 2000, Picture It!
2000, Picture It! 2002, Picture It! 98, Picture It! 99, Publisher 2000,
Publisher 97, Publisher 98, Works 2002

If any of these products was ever installed on the PC, even if that product
was later upgraded to a version that doesn't include the font, the font will
probably still be there.

Legally, if you don't have a license for any of those products, you have to
buy the font from Monotype for $22.00
(http://www.fonts.com/findfonts/detail.asp?pid=203226). As a purely
technical issue, it's possible to copy the font file from one PC to the
other and run File > Install New Font while Explorer is displaying the Font
folder.
