Missing folder in Outlook 2007

Today I discovered that one of my folders is missing in Outlook 2007. I have
lots of folders I have created in Outlook over the years, and this one was
several years old. I only occasionally access it, so I have no idea when it
actually disappeared.

Does anyone have any idea why just one folder would disappear? My data file
is very large - could that be causing problems? Can I recover the folder?
It's not in my deleted items folder (but I automatically empty it upon
closing Outlook each evening). I haven't changed the view lately. But every
once in a while Outlook 2007 will "encounter a problem and must close". It's
much buggier than Outlook 2003, I think. Could I be losing data when it
closes unexpectedly?

Thanks for your help!

Okay, I did a search for a word that would be present in most of the
emails/posts that were in the folder, and the folder still exists. How do I
find it and restore it to the folders view?

Well, I finally found it. It was inside another folder. That was what I had
first suspected, but I thought I did a thorough search of all my folders and
could not find it then. It makes the most sense about why it disappeared, but
it sure was hard to find!

You have a different problem. The Deleted Items folder is a default folder,
and cannot be moved to another location in Outlook. You might want to post
your problem as a new thread - maybe someone else can help you. Good Luck!
