I attempted to install a 4 year old version of PCTV on my computer. However
it was not successful because I had recently attached a new flat screen, and
was told that the video driver was not suitable. So I then attempted to
un-install the PCTV program, but must have also removed some shared files
because my mouse will no longer work. I have tried going back to a restore
point of a few days ago, but that had no effect. It's probably stuffed up
some other things that I don't even know about. I don't want to run my
2000Windows XP disc, because it will scrub the hard disc. I have tried
reinstalling the PCTV files, but that hasn't fixed things either. Can anyone
suggest a solution to my problem? Grateful for help (which has always been so
generously forthcoming in the past.
