?Missing files

The only programs I can access on my pc are Internet
Explorer.

I cannot open Outlook Express,any help files, or use any
programs that I have installed. I keep getting the
message hh.exe: Access to the specified device, path or
file is denied.

Ideas anyone??

There are numerous MS kb articles re hh.exe error;
One of them refers to an incompatible Matrox driver, you didnt use winupdate
for any drivers did you?
Another possibility is a virus;

The files responsible for causing the problem are missing
from my pc. Found this out, when following the
instuctions from symantec about W32.dexec.
I dont have a windows 2000 installation disk. Therefore
how can I obtain the missing files?

If I read the symantec article correctly the files shouldn't have been
deleted, merely renamed and moved to different folders.
You dont have a win2k inst.disk, presumably this means you only have a
recovery disk/hidden hd partition ?

Then you will have to buy the o/s disk
