Missing environment variable

T

Tom

I have set up a system environment variable (in control
panel, system). When I open a cmd window and use the SET
command, I do not see a definition for the variable.
Others I have set do show up. I've tried deleting and
resetting the variable, but that does not work. I've
changed some of the others and they do show the changes.

The variable name is Clientname.

I'm running Windows 2000 Advanced Server.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Tom

You have two choices:

- Log off and log on again, or
- Use setx.exe from the Win2000 Resource Kit
