Hi,

I am using Outlook 2003 on Windows XP and I have the following question:

I used to have an envelope icon on my tray icon area every time a new mail came in. Today - I clicked on "Hide icon" in its popup menu, and it has been goan since then.

How do I bring it back?

Thanks,

Mike.

You should ask this in a Windows newsgroup. RIght-click on the system tray
and choose "Customize Notifications". Locate the "You have new unopened
items" and change the behavior to "Always show". Click OK, then OK again.

See if under 'Tools|Options|E-mail Options|Advanced E-mail Options' the
"Show an envelope icon in the notification area" checkbox is still checked;
if not, add a checkmark and click OK.
