Missing end of line letters in mail folders?

Outlook 2003 in mail page Favorites Folders and All Mail Folders the text at
the end of the sub-folder names are cut off. I have already tried to widen
the space and I have re-installed Office entirely.

Try this: from http://www.slipstick.com/emo/2005/up050317.htm#names
OUTLOOK TIP: TRUNCATED FOLDER NAMES

If the folder names in Outlook are cut off or otherwise look weird,
check your Windows theme or color scheme settings. A color scheme that uses
larger fonts is usually the culprit and restoring the default theme (or using
smaller fonts) will fix it. In fact, any time dialogs don't look "right" or
buttons and text are missing or partially hidden, it's usually caused by your
scheme. Using a Windows theme not installed by Windows XP (including themes
downloaded from Microsoft.com for Media Center and Tablet PC) may result in
display issues both with dialogs and menu color schemes.

I've experienced a similar issue in Windows 7. I am using a default theme
with normal font sizes. The problem is detailed here, but the solution
doesn't work:

The only thing that works temporarily is to refresh the Date Navigator
settings, which apparently refreshes the entire interface. However, the
folder names will get cut-off shortly thereafter.

I have experienced the same problem and the Slipstick Solution only worked
temporarily. I am using Windows Vista with Outlook 2003 and Zonealarm
Extreme Security. The Sonicwall email junk filter in Zonealarm is the culprit
in my case. I disabled the junk filter and I have had no further problem with
truncated folder names. Checkpoint and Sonicwall deny there is a problem and
offer no fix or patch. If you are using a thrid party mail filter that may be
the problem. I hope this helps.

I'm running Win7 on a 64-bit machine, Outlook 2003, and my folder names have
been flip-flopping between being cut-off and being complete. I just went to
take a picture of the cut-off folder names, and they had mysteriously
restored themselves to correct format. The same PST file with the same
version of Outlook 2003 always displays correctly on an XP desktop and and XP
Tablet edition notebook.

In control panel, display, what font size are you using?
Under Personalization, what theme do you use?
Does having the unread items (so the folder name is bolded) make a
difference?
