Missing Elevator on XP Pro (SP2) Word 2002 SP3

My elevator is missing on my version of Word. I am runnning XP Pro SP2 with
Word 2002 (10.6838.6839) SP3 and cannot seem to get it back. This is a
corporate build that is local to my laptop and therefore is likely a local
Registry hive issue???

Elevator? What in the world are you talking about? Elevator?

I've no clue what you mean by elevator, but try starting Word with the /a
switch. (Start - Run - winword.exe /a). If your "elevator" is there then,
the problem likely would be a problem with Normal.dot or a registry entry.

Do you have "Vertical scroll bar" checked on the View tab of Tools |
