Some how I did something that removed the drop down menus
and tool bars from Explorer, and I cannot get them back.
Explorer is practically useless without them. Please help
me restore them.

Hi Steve,

Right-click a blank area, click on the standard buttons and the address bar.
If "lock the toolbar" is checked, you must click this first to uncheck it.

If you are referring to Internet Explorer, then perform
the following:

To resolve the problem, reset the toolbar settings in the
registry by following these simple instructions:

1. Close all Internet Explorer Windows.
2. Log on as System Administrator.
3. Click Start, then Run and type regedit and press Enter

4. In the Registry Editor window, click the plus symbol
next to each entry to open them in the following order:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Toolbar

5. Right-click "Toolbar" key.
6. Double-click Delete.
7. Close the Registry window.
8. As in step 4, navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Toolbar

9. Right-click "Toolbar" key.
10. Double-click Delete.
11. Restart the system.
