missing Drivers during install VISTA

I've bought a new pc, with two unpartitioned Seagate Barracuda's 500 GB
ST3500630AS (and an ASUS p5b de luxe WIFI mobo) and a brand new Vista
business Edition.

When I'm done creating partitions, and I want to format them, I get the
error/notification: 'This device does not have the proper drivers installed,
please install them', but I can't find the right drivers anywhere!!! They're
not on the motherboard CD, nor can I find a similar issue anywhere on the
internet..

I've tried several drivers from various sites (also from the ASUS site, and
contacted Seagate, they told me I should install the Drivers for the disk
controller, i've tried to install several of them, but i can't seem to find
the right ones)
Can someone please help me out?

Have you tried running WinUpdate?
What process did you use to partition them?
What process are you using to try and format them?

You did not say if you were using the SATA or PATA connectors...........so
we assume you're using SATA.
Did you load the SATA drivers for the Mobo via the F6 during the attempted
install of Vista???
They are on the Mobo CD usually listed under drivers....by Chipset but could
be called RAID SATA drivers........Vista will search for them once you point
it to the proper directory on the CD.Remember that this Mobo uses 2 SATA
controllers...Intel and JMicron.......so load them both for future use.
