during initail set up, once hd was completely formated, windows 2000 asked for driver set v1.0 to be put into drive A: however, we did not receive disket with new purchace of windows 2000 professional...was this a mistake?? were we sappose to receive this disk or make it ourselves before formatting?? HELP ASAP

Driver disks are not supplied with Win2K.
The drivers required could relate to any of yr hardware. If you are
upgrading from an earlier o/s did you check for compatibility probs prior to
starting this procedure?
If an upgrade remove all external devices. eg printer/scanners etc
You might want to start with the driver disks that were supplied with yr
sys.
