Missing dll file

Hi i recently had a virus in the c:\windows\system32\bridge.dll file and had it deleted. Now when i start my computer its says the file is missing, was that file important? is there any i can retrieve it?

Hi Nick,

No, that file was part of the problem. You need to remove the reference to
it. See:

Bridge.dll is used as part of spyware. What happens after the program is deleted by AdAware or SpyBot SD, the pointers remain. The easiest way to clean it out is to use HiJack This. The program gives you a log sheet and the folks at Computer Cops can then review it and tell you which lines need to be fixed, which HiJack This can do. They can be found at http://computercops.biz

It worked for me.
